  • What if a landlord, (who after some research is not licensed or associated with management company, for which he claims) continues to ignore our pleas to fix the hazardous wiring, and flooring that is not disabled friendly? Also what if there are conflicting reports on a black mold inspection? We were told yes we do and the landlord refuses to clean the ducts because his report says no. I have been hospitalized 6 times, and when I have pneumonia, it gets worse each time, which caused me to have a O2 level go as low at 83 this last one. A high risk for retaliation, A fear of house safety.

  • I am currently renting a home in Tucson that has a Swamp Cooler. The swamp cooler has not been keeping the house cool. The temperature reaches between 88-91 degrees inside even with many fans throughout house. The landlord has failed to offer any way of cooling down the house. If we want an AC unit in the windows we must pay for it. He has neglected to fix things because we pay "cheap rent for the neighborhood we're in." Is the landlord legally responsible for providing livable conditions such as accurate cooling?

  • House financed in mobile park with lot rent. Shortly after moving into my mobile home park, they let my neighbor get a dog. This dog violates half of the park rules pertaining to pets. It's over the 16" and probably 40lb. limit, They leave it outside, unattended, it barks for hours at a time both when the neighbors are home, and when they are not. The neighbors, pretend not to understand English when I try to talk to them. I have complained about the dog hundreds of times to park management, they have done nothing about the dog.   • Our house has been with a broken AC for 3 weeks. We have had to wait for a repair, another repair, a second opinion, another attempted repair, etc. Today we were supposed to have someone come to our house and give us a new unit but when I asked my landlord where they were she said since our house was at 82 degrees we got pushed for people with hotter houses. Our house is cool because we had to rent a mobile AC unit. Our electric bill is twice as much due to a 30 year old AC. What right do we have and should our landlord pay for some of our electric bill?

He died at 2:00am & his stepson had a quit claim deed signed & notorized on the same day he died. his stepson took over all his property house, car, bank accounts. what can I do in this situation?   • i would like to know if these siuations would be considered a form of child abuse. I consider them, but not sure if my view is correct. First to lock a child in there bedroom from 7 pm to 7 am note child is 4 yrs old. and has child is potty trained but must pee in room or in there pants to relieve themselves.   • My husband died Dec 14,2015. He suffered from dementia and signed a lease on an apartment. November 5, 2015. We never received a signed completed lease agreement to this date, I have sent numerous requested for return or written conformation of deposit status. First they said I wasn't on the lease, I provided my marriage certificate and acknowledged Arizona was a community property state. The attorney for the management company, doesn't even acknowledge my correspondence even thought the last was hand submitted and I requested a signed receipt of its acceptance. the landlord tenant act violate
  • My name is on the house I bought. My boyfriend pays his share. I want him out, he has be abusive and the police have been involved already. They brought him back and said there was nothing they could hold him on. I feel scared for my life. if this situation happens again, I don't know what to do. Im trapped and being intimidated by him.
